Fallbeispill 1 - Knäipen an der Schoul / Case-study 1 - cheating at school

2005
6 classes - 150 students ages from 12 to 17

3 case studies have been presented to the students according the agreement made in Geldrop in 2005. The students have been asked to read the presented case and to reflect on it. They had to answer two questions: "how do you feel about the situation" and "how do you react". Some lines could be used to write down some remarks. A fourth sheet invited the students to write down the values which seem the most important to them

Evaluation
The cooperation was very good among the students, even if they were less interested in the results. but unfortunately most teachers of the classes were not interested: the motivation of teachers must be improved. The ccoperation with teachers in social education and religion must be planned if the experiment should be repeated.

Is this best practice transferable to other schools?
Yes, if the subjects are adapted to the situation of each school. We recommend to build up the cases with a group of students or one class and organize the studies together with this class also the evaluation.
